Hispanic heritage FIESTA
Friday, October 4th
What a wonderful evening celebrating Hispanic Heritage with our school community! If you missed it, check out the video here.
A very special thank you to all volunteers who donated and helped, and to the families who cooked, researched, decorated, and more for their grade's booth. An event like this doesn't happen without your commitment and participation! We hope you learned a little bit about our featured hispanic countries while enjoying the music, performances, crafts and delicious food.

**Update**
Each grade will be decorating a booth, serving/selling tapas, and displaying posters of famous people and other fun facts about their country! The parents listed below have volunteered to lead each grade, but they need you to help in some way - whether with decorations, making tapas, volunteering at the booth, donating supplies, or making a poster with your child. Event Background
In honor of Hispanic Heritage month, which is September 15 - October 15, R.H. Dana students learn about various hispanic cultures around the world in class. To tie it all together and celebrate, the PTA hosted our very first Hispanic Heritage Fiesta last year! It was a wonderful event where each grade created a booth with decorations, information and tapas from different hispanic countries. We had entertainment, crafts, music, dancing, and more.
Watch a video from last year's event!
We would like to replicate this event, but it requires a team of volunteers to make it happen. Help us kick off the school year right!
